Joffrey Lupul was traded to the Leafs from the ducks in the 2010-11 season. He has demonstrated that he can help the team. This season, he only has 11 goals and 7 assists. Due to him being plagued with injuries and suspensions, he has not played many games. The first injury was when he got hit in the arm with a puck and he was out for quite a while. Then, he got a suspenion for a few games for unsportsmanlike contact. Then, he got double teamed when the Leafs were playing the Flyers. When he got up to go to the bench, he missed the door by a few feet. He was out for a few games again. But he conquered all of those minor (and major) set backs, and showed the League what he

He may not be the best Leaf member but he sure can shoot. He was acquired from the Calgary Flames in the 2009-10 season. He entered the NHL in the 2005 draft in the 1st round, 9th overall by Calgary. He is a good captain, however, there are other players that I think would do better. On the plays where the puck gets passed back to the point, he usually does not recieve the pass. This lockout shortened season, he hasn't been doing to well. He has 9 goals and 18 assists for a total of 27 points. He may not be the most accurate shooter but he is a good leader of the club.

Phil Kessel came to the Leafs team in 2010. He came from Boston and has stayed in TO for 3 seasons. He has proven himself to be a key asset to the Leafs Franchise. He is the reason that the Leafs are in the playoffs. He has scored 16 goals which may not seem like much, and has racked up 32 assists this season alone. For a total of 48 points. He leads the Leafs team in points. Now don't get me wrong, I love JVR (as a hockey player) but Kessel is a close 2nd. Again, HE is the reason the Leafs have clinched a playoff spot.

Last season, Randy Carlyle (head coach) sent Luke schenn away to Philadelphia to
be with his brother Brayden. In return the Leafs got James Van Riemsdyk. He has
much experience, and has already proven that he can help the Leafs Franchise. He
has scored 18 goals and has 14 assists this season alone. He has shown that he
is brave by always finding his way to the front of the net, making sure that he
screens the keeper. Even if Phaneuf's point shot hits him, James will travel to
the front of the net every shift. He has gotten many points with the club and is
hoping to get many, many more.
